If you want to test the limits of what is possible on demanding trails with your gravel bike, a dropper post offers clear advantages. SRAM has integrated the remote lever into a left-hand Apex 1 brake lever for lightning-fast and intuitive operation of the dropper post. Just like the double-tap shift lever on the right-hand side of the handlebars, it is easy to operate both in the hoods and in the drops. Thanks to the ReachAdjust lever width adjustment, the position of the brake lever and the remote lever can be adapted to the size of your hand. In addition to its outstanding functionality, the integrated remote lever also ensures a tidy cockpit on the drop bar.
The brake system works with DOT 5.1 brake fluid. This medium is strictly standardized and thus offers extremely reliable function even at high temperatures caused by the braking process. The flat mount brake calliper is suitable for 140 millimeter and 160 millimeter brake disc diameters with the adapter included in the scope of delivery.
