SON e-bike headlight Edelux DC 170 | StVZO
In cooperation with Busch & Müller, SON has brought the DC 170 e-bike headlight onto the market. The electronics and the housing come directly from Tübingen, while the specialists from the southern Sauerland bring in the optics. With the "IQ-TEC" reflector you have an evenly illuminated light field, which perfectly illuminates both the distance and the area directly in front of the front wheel.
The LED sits on a copper heat sink, which is screwed directly onto the headlight housing. This perfect cooling is a prerequisite for the good efficiency and the high brightness of 170 lux.
The solid, waterproof housing of the headlight made of aluminum, as well as the scratch-resistant, anti-reflective glass pane also ensure high mechanical durability. Thanks to the eyelet at the bottom, the Edelux DC 170 can be mounted on most of the brackets available on the market.
SON has also given thought to the fastening of the cable. It no longer has to be stripped. The clamp-cutting connector behind the removable back cover does this work for you. You just plug in the cable and you're done. There is no simpler way to solve the assembly.
