State-of-the-art CFD analysis, wind tunnel testing and rapid prototyping are used to create solutions that set new standards in efficiency and quality, both on and off-road. Each wheel is completely manufactured at Sislent in Barcelona, from the lamination of the rim to the spoking and centering.
The ultra-light Terra carbon MTB wheels have already proven their performance in some of the toughest races in the world. Designed for demanding marathon and XC routes, they offer immediate acceleration when changing speed and maximum control on technical descents. The balanced combination of stiffness and low weight makes them the ideal choice for demanding mixed routes with explosive climbs, rough trails and terrain where efficiency and maneuverability are crucial.
The in-house ONE hubs are equipped with a 45-tooth ratchet system and ensure virtually instantaneous power transmission between pedal stroke and wheel. The result: more efficient propulsion, more explosive acceleration and a noticeably more direct ride feel. The hubs are equipped with high-quality ceramic bearings for particularly smooth rolling behavior. These guarantee maximum smoothness, higher speed and noticeably more efficiency with every pedal stroke.
All Terra-LC models are made from high-modulus T1000 carbon, one of the most advanced carbon fibers on the market, which offers an outstanding stiffness-to-weight ratio. The characteristic 15K finish is the hallmark of the Terra series: an unmistakable detail that gives the carbon a clear structure, an independent character and a special aesthetic presence.
BERD spokes
Thanks to the construction with BERD textile spokes, the Terra LC wheelset raises the riding experience to a new level. The ultra-light BERD spokes are made of innovative UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) fibers and offer decisive advantages, particularly in terms of absorbing shocks and vibrations. Their special fiber structure effectively reduces the shocks transmitted from the ground. This takes the strain off your hands and arms, reduces fatigue and increases comfort on long, technically demanding tours. At the same time, the spokes are characterized by high resistance to fatigue and corrosion, which ensures consistent performance over the long term.
Hookless design
The hookless rim profiles have a larger inner width and enable a lower weight. The rounder tire profile significantly improves grip, driving stability and lateral support when cornering. Sislent relies on an advanced carbon fiber process that offers maximum stability and durability.
Asymmetrical rim design
The Terra wheels have an innovative asymmetrical design that optimizes the distribution of tension in the spokes. This not only improves the balance of the spokes, but also increases the stiffness of the wheels and enables more effective power transmission.
