The performance of the XTR brake caliper will also impress you once again. From the outside, you won't even notice its power. Its filigree appearance blends perfectly into any frame, but the 2 pistons still have a good grip and bring you safely to a halt in any riding situation. The sealing system of the brake system has been completely revised and may only be filled with LV (low viscosity) mineral oil. The advantage of this is the higher performance of the brake across practically all temperature ranges, which means that you can also tackle longer downhill rides in a relaxed manner and pressure point fluctuations are a thing of the past. In addition, the response behavior of the individual components to each other is significantly accelerated. To reduce the weight, the one-piece saddle is made of a magnesium alloy, which ensures high rigidity and dissipates sufficient heat.
The resin pads installed here guarantee high braking performance at all times and, compared to metal pads, ensure lower noise levels and less wear on the brake disc. Thanks to the titanium backing plate, the pads are very light and also support heat management.
Bleeding the XTR M9200 series is also very easy thanks to the one-way bleeding technology and can be done by anyone with a little manual skill.
