The Dura-Ace FC-R8100-P crank not only converts your pedal power into propulsion, with its high rigidity it also ensures extremely fast and precise shifting. The high shifting precision is supported by the optimized chain ring design. To keep the weight low, the Japanese continue to rely on the proven Hollowtech II crank arm design. A large selection of crank arm lengths and chainring options ensures the availability of the right crank for every type of rider and every terrain.
The new integrated power meter processes the data with outstanding accuracy. With one sensor each on the left and right crank arm, you can, in addition to the performance evaluation, also detect muscular imbalances between the legs. The waterproof construction provides reliable and accurate data in all conditions. This is also ensured by the active temperature compensation of the software. A manual zero point calibration can be carried out in no time at all using a switch on the transmitter. Strain gauges developed by Shimano are used for the greatest possible accuracy. The internal lithium-ion battery supplies the power meter with electricity for up to 300 operating hours and is charged via an integrated port without being removed.
