The new down tube battery for the E8000 series is slim and sleek, elegant but powerful. With its 630 watt hours, it offers sufficient capacity even for extended mountain bike tours and, thanks to the water-protected design - especially at the interface to the battery mount - is also ideally prepared for bad weather tours. The compact design offers a low center of gravity for a more natural riding experience, and the holder has been deliberately designed to hold the battery securely and firmly even in the roughest terrain, but to release it quickly and easily for charging.

Note: This battery is not compatible with the battery holder of the BT-E8010 and BT-E8014 batteries (BM-E8010)! The battery is not compatible with the Shimano EP801 / EP600 drive unit.
