SHIMANO Deore XT Shifter SL-M8100 2-fold | I-SPEC EV

As one of the contact points, the shifters are an important link between the driver and the bike. The 2-speed shifter is a completely new development and impresses with its outstanding ergonomics and its low weight. In contrast to conventional 2-speed shifters, the M8100 comes with only one shift lever. To turn on the big leaf, the lever is pushed forward with the thumb and locks in this position. To downshift the lock is released either by repeated thumb pressure or pushing back with the index finger and the chain is securely guided on the small leaf. Plus, the M8100 shifter with its redesigned interior shifts faster thanks to Instant Release. The shift cable is released immediately upon actuation of the lever, allowing the pilot to respond even faster to changing track conditions.

With the I-Spec EV version, the lever can be attached to Deore XT M8100 brake levers to save space. In addition, the assembly offers a 14 mm wide, lateral adjustment range over the new standard, and the shifter can also be rotated 60 degrees.
