The performance of the CUES brakes will fully convince you. Despite their relatively low weight, they leave nothing to be desired in terms of deceleration. The lever is very comfortable to hold and allows high deceleration values with little effort. Of course, the grip width can be adjusted without tools so that every rider can find their own individual setup. Mounting on the handlebars is extremely easy thanks to the split clamp. It is also possible to attach a shift lever with I-Spec II mount directly to the grip.
The connection to the brake calliper is provided by the tried-and-tested SM-BH90 hydraulic hose. It is flexible enough to negotiate even tight radii, but also transmits all deceleration commands without loss.
The power of the brake calliper is not visible from the outside. Its filigree appearance blends in perfectly with any frame, but the 2 pistons still have a good grip and bring you to a safe stop in any riding situation. The resin brake pads bring calm to the system and impress with their long service life. Bleeding the CUES U8000 series is also very easy thanks to the one-way bleeding technology and can be done by anyone with a little manual skill.
