SHIMANO bolt length selector for BR-RS505 / BR-R9170 / BR-M9110 flat mount brake caliper

Determining the correct length of the mounting bolt for flat mount brake calipers can be difficult. Shimano offers this small, inconspicuous aid to make things easier.
The selector is placed on the chainstay and the bolt length is selected so that its end is located in the small bulge (see also Figure 2).
