Opals were considered particularly valuable in ancient times. Pure white stones in particular were sometimes valued higher than diamonds. Now you too can enhance your bike with them. With their special edition, Selle Italia are giving your favorite bike the sparkle of white.

The Italians are already presenting the 4th generation of their iconic SLR saddle. The design has been optimized in terms of weight, aerodynamics and speed. The saddle features a redesigned silhouette that retains the characteristic shape of the SLR, but has been produced using innovative carbon lay-up technology to ensure thinner yet stiff saddle rails. The handcrafted padding is specifically positioned at the relevant contact points to maximize comfort during longer rides and intense efforts. The minimalist design significantly reduces weight, while the ergonomic shape provides sufficient comfort to ensure optimum support even on demanding rides.

Advanced carbon rails
The carbon rails have been developed with a brand new carbon layup to ensure lightness and durability. In addition, the improved frame provides better vibration damping.

Handmade, lightweight padded cover
The saddle impresses with a handmade cover made from high-quality, lightweight materials. This provides sufficient support and is also highly abrasion-resistant.

Neutral
Neutral anatomically shaped saddles provide adequate support for both cyclists with anterior pelvic rotation (dynamic riders) and those with posterior pelvic rotation (static riders).

Superflow
The central "Superflow" cut-out removes pressure from the central area and offers more comfort when pedaling.
