Schwalbe worked closely with the professionals from the Commencal and Muc-Off racing teams to develop their new high-performance tire. Over the course of two years, this collaboration resulted in the Tacky Chan. With a completely new tread design, the Tacky Chan is the ideal companion for downhill and enduro - the perfect combination of stability and adaptability is key here. Reinforced shoulder lugs, extended braking edges and L-shaped lugs enable higher speed with less weight, greater braking traction and maximum grip, especially when cornering. The open shoulder area provides direct feedback and improves self-cleaning. As usual, this MTB tire has features such as TLE, Snakeskin, Super Gravity puncture protection and ADDIX Compound Soft.

ADDIX SOFT, orange marking
Is a compound that bridges many areas. It belongs in the enduro and downhill world as well as in demanding all-mountain and trail riding. It also shines in combinations - more speed: Soft at the front, Speedgrip at the rear. Or more damping: Ultra Soft at the front, Soft at the rear. ADDIX Soft is also ideal for E-MTBs. This is where it really shows off its strengths of "lots of cushioning and plenty of grip", all year round thanks to its optimized cold properties!

NOTE: Tires with a soft rubber compound offer more grip and roll more smoothly. However, soft tires degrade more quickly and are more susceptible to wear!

TLE - Tubeless Easy
A new monofilament side fabric offers three advantages over the previous standard:
Even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, it enables extremely easy tubeless conversion. The use of sealing fluid is required, but mounting is otherwise just as easy as with real tubeless tires. Long conversion processes with intensive shaking and frequent re-inflation are no longer necessary with Tubeless Easy.

Super Gravity
Super Gravity is a patented carcass construction. The 4-ply sidewall stabilizes the tire, while the 2-ply tread is grippy and flexible.
