SCHWALBE Tire Magic Mary Trail Pro 29 x 2.50 | ULTRA SOFT RADIAL TLR | black
With the year 2026, Schwalbe is completely revamping its MTB range: design, designation, technology and reducing the portfolio to the essentials was Schwalbe's motivation.
Thanks to the new clarity in the designation, more clarity has been created. Schwalbe-Line or Pro-Line is the first question you will ask yourself. What version do you need, do you need the racing tire (Pro-Line) or the more durable price-performance model (Schwalbe-Line).
The designations for the tire constructions have also been renamed to make them easier to understand. Gravity, Trail and Race are the new names.
The Magic Mary is the first choice of all Schwalbe downhill and enduro athletes. It has the perfect all-round characteristics for almost all routes and conditions. The sophisticated intermediate tread pattern is combined with the best rubber compounds to push the limits to unimagined dimensions. With its shoulder lugs, it claws aggressively into the ground in every bend and maintains grip. The Magic Mary offers control on almost all ground conditions and is a good choice even on rocky trails. It scores points for its good-natured handling, forgives minor mistakes and leaves more room for development.
RADIAL
The carcass threads, which run diagonally across the tire at a 45° angle in normal bicycle tires, are arranged at a much more obtuse angle in radial tires. The technology, which was developed in the Downhill World Cup, is turning the MTB world on its head. Primarily, the arrangement ensures that the carcass material overlaps shorter and with less tension. As a result, the tire deforms more selectively and can react much more flexibly and adaptably to bumps without sacrificing safety. With the same air pressure, radial tires offer 30 percent more contact area than conventional tires. The result is more grip, more cushioning and more comfort.
Ultra Soft
The compound with maximum damping is perfect for hardcore enduro, gravity and downhill use. Thanks to the improved compound, you have maximum and optimum grip even in cold and wet conditions.
TRAIL PRO
The versatile construction, built for riding fun from All Mountain to Enduro. Reliable puncture protection paired with high lateral stability at low air pressures. Extra reinforced sidewalls protect against punctures and absorb impacts. For all those looking for unbridled fun on endless trails. The lighter construction compared to the Gravity version makes it a good choice for uphill riding.
Schwalbe PRO
The PRO tires from Schwalbe stand for exceptional performance and were explicitly designed for competition. Extremely fast and very light with good mileage make these tires the first choice for all ambitious athletes.
TLR - Tubeless Ready
A new monofilament sidewall fabric offers three advantages over the previous standard: even better cut resistance, increased puncture resistance and, above all, makes tubeless conversion extremely easy. The use of sealing fluid is necessary, but the fitting itself is easy. Long conversion processes with intensive shaking and frequent re-inflation are a thing of the past with Schwalbe TLR tires.
Note: Tires with a soft rubber compound offer more grip and roll more smoothly. However, soft tires degrade more quickly and are more susceptible to wear.
