Aerothan is a material that completely redefines the bicycle inner tube: extremely light, highly puncture-resistant and designed for minimum rolling resistance. Like all Schwalbe products, the new inner tube was not only developed in the laboratory, but was also perfected through thousands of test rides. Professional cyclists, triathletes, World Cup mountain bikers and cyclists from around the world provided valuable feedback for the developers. Among them was Patrick Lange, Ironman Hawaii World Champion 2017 and 2018, who concluded: "Aerothan is my first choice. On the one hand, because you can save 100 grams per set of tires compared to conventional tubes.
