SCHMOLKE Handlebar Carbon Road Evo TLO Black Edition UD Finish
The German luxury manufacturer Schmolke stands for their feather-light products that are fully capable of driving and use despite excessive lightweight construction. TLO does not stand for The lightest One. Only the best carbon prepregs available on the market are used in this series and the handlebars are specially tuned to the rider's weight. Therefore, the occupancy of the carbon mats can be adjusted and the weight further reduced, without compromising on stiffness or durability.
With the very short reach of just 78 millimeters, the brake levers of the Evo TLO move closer to the driver. He thus favors a more upright seating position. The low top link deflection also supports this characteristic, making the handlebar an ideal companion on long routes and marathon races. If it's allowed to be a bit faster, the slow-running bow in the lower link position provides a comfortable and aerodynamic seating position. Thanks to the short lowering of only 126 millimeters, the seating position is not too extreme, even in the lower link.
Even in the top link, the Evo TLO offers a comfortable grip position thanks to its large oversized area. Furthermore, the large cross section ensures a noticeably higher rigidity. Cable trays integrated into the underside of the handlebar create a tidy look on the bike. For use in triathlon or time trials, the Evo TLO is optionally available with a reinforcement for the assembly of time-lapse attachments (clip-ons).
