The German luxury forge Schmolke stands for its feather-light products that are fully suitable for riding and use despite excessive lightweight construction.
With the very short reach of only 78 millimeters, the brake levers of the Evo SL are closer to the rider. This favors a more upright riding position. This characteristic is also supported by the low upper handlebar bend, making the handlebar an ideal companion on long distances and marathon races. If you want to go a little faster, the slowly tapering curve in the lower handlebar position offers a comfortable and aerodynamic riding position. Thanks to the short drop of just 126 millimetres, the riding position is not too extreme even in the lower link.
The Evo SL also offers a comfortable grip position in the upper link thanks to its large oversized area. Furthermore, the large cross-section ensures noticeably greater stiffness. Cable channels integrated into the underside of the handlebars create a tidy look on the bike. For use in triathlons or time trials, the Evo SL is optionally available with a reinforcement for mounting time trial attachments (clip-ons).
