The German luxury manufacturer Schmolke stands for its feather-light products that are fully capable of driving and use despite excessive lightweight construction.
The oversize of the Compact SL appeals especially to those who want even more stiffness in the steering area. The widened contact surface provides for a comfortable top linkage while the compact dimensions offer a comfortable lower handlebar grip.
In braking position, the handle part forms a horizontal line with the brake handle, which means a high level of comfort and relieves the nerves in the wrist.
Especially drivers with smaller hands will benefit from the Compact SL, as the brake handles are located a bit higher up and are thus easier to reach.
