The German luxury manufacturer Schmolke stands for their feather-light products that are fully capable of driving and use despite excessive lightweight construction. TLO does not stand for The lightest One. Only the best carbon prepregs available on the market are used in this series, and the handlebars are specially tuned to the rider's weight. Therefore, the occupancy of carbon mats can be adjusted and the weight further reduced, without compromising on stiffness or durability.
The oversize geometry gives the Flatbar a significant gain in stiffness. The 200 mm wide middle section consists of up to 16 carbon layers and accommodates stems with 31.6 mm clamping dimensions.
The TLO handlebars are not suitable for mounting barends and can only be shortened by a maximum of 10 millimeters at both ends.
