The popular Rotor Q-Rings chainrings in a new guise. The Spaniards have not only changed the look slightly, a new tooth profile now makes the chainrings compatible with Shimano-HG 12-speed chains and thus with the current Shimano 12-speed road groupsets. With their asymmetrical 110 millimeter bolt circle, the bolt circle diameter can be mounted on Rotor ALDHU/VEGAST cranks and on all Shimano 11/ 12-speed road cranks (also on Shimano power meter cranks ).
The oval shape of the Q-Rings chainrings is used to optimally use the leg muscles and thus increase your own performance! Rotor is based on the theory that the human leg muscles are primarily designed to straighten the leg, while bending the leg is rarely necessary and requires little effort. The corresponding muscle groups are naturally so differently developed that even through hard training, the performance of the different muscle groups cannot be adjusted to each other. With round chainrings, this difference always results in an uneven kick and a significantly faster fatigue of the muscles that pull when pedaling. The Rotor Q-Rings start at this point and, due to their oval shape, put more strain on the pressing muscles and at the same time relieve the strain on the pulling muscle parts. This concept increases both sprint and endurance performance through better use of the anatomical conditions!
The OCP system (Optimum Chainring Position) has been further refined for optimal adjustment of the oval Q-Rings. The position of the chainrings can be adjusted in 1-degree increments using a combination of different positions of the crank arms on the crankshaft and a finely ratcheted spider mount (only in combination with Rotor ALDHU Spider).
