The RockShox Vivid Ultimate was developed for World Cup races and uncompromising top performance. It sets new standards in the performance of downhill, enduro and E-MTBs. Developed and tested on the toughest World Cup courses, this high-end shock impresses with exceptional control, sensitivity and consistency - even under the most extreme conditions.
The innovative LinearXL air spring delivers a steel spring-like ride feel: sensitive in response, supportive in the mid-travel range and with an adjustable bottom out for maximum safety on hard landings. The result is consistently predictable performance on long descents and demanding trails.
The specially tuned RCT2 damper was developed as a system together with the Charger 3.2 fork damper. The new main compression pistons provide more mid-stroke support, while the separate HSC and LSC adjusters allow quick, intuitive and precise adjustment to rider, trail and bike. The removable rebound knob can also be used to adjust the high-speed compression and bottom out.

Linear XL
The LinearXL air spring provides a smooth, steel spring-like ride feel - easily adjustable with interchangeable bottomless tokens for optimum tuning.
RC2T shocks
The RCT2 shocks enable finely graduated and clearly separated adjustment of low and high-speed compression over an exceptionally wide effective range.
Optimized compression damping
The characteristic curve of the compression damping is optimized for the Charger 3.2 shock to harmonize perfectly with RockShox forks.
Base Valve
The newly designed base valve reduces the internal friction of the IFP by 40%, giving the shock a smooth response and perfect traction.
Hydraulic Bottom Out Bumper
The five-stage adjustable Bottom Out Bumper adjusts the damping of the last 20% of the travel, reducing the risk of hard bottoming out and giving you more room for bold actions.
Bottomless Tokens
Here you can easily vary the air volume of your shock with optional tokens (volume spacers) and thus adapt the spring characteristic and progression to your riding style.
SAG Gradients
If you don't adjust your suspension elements correctly, you might as well be riding someone else's bike. With RockShox, the markings for the exact adjustment of your suspension components are printed directly on them, saving you a lot of time when setting them up.
