The Vivid Ultimate surpasses everything that has gone before and is optimized for the toughest downhill use. Developed by the best engineers and tested by the fastest racers, the guys from Colorado have created a DH shock that is second to none. The completely independently adjustable high- and low-speed compression damping and a rebound with a wide adjustment range allow every rider to find the right setup. In addition, the TouchDown RC2T damping has an adjustable hydraulic bottom out, which reliably prevents bottoming out. A sensitively responding air spring gives you a feeling when riding that is otherwise only known from steel springs.
TouchDown RC2T shock absorber
Incredibly sensitive at the beginning of the spring travel with perfect support in the middle range. Thanks to the Hydraulic Bottom Out, bottoming out is a thing of the past.
Vivid Air
An air spring that makes you think you are riding a steel spring. Extremely sensitive at the beginning of the travel and perfect support in the mid-travel range.
Hydraulic Bottom Out Bumper
The five-click adjustable bottom out bumper adjusts the damping of the last 20% of the travel, reducing the risk of hard bottoming out and giving you more scope for bold actions.
Rebound adjustment
The 15-position rebound adjustment provides a wider range of adjustment options and adapts to more rider types.
Reduced High Speed Compression
Prevents your rear wheel from hitting objects hard. Thanks to the reduced high-speed compression, it can avoid hard impacts and bumps from obstacles more quickly.
Bottomless tokens
Optional tokens (volume spacers) allow you to easily vary the air volume of your shock and thus adapt the spring characteristic to your riding style.
SAG Gradients
If you don't adjust your suspension elements correctly, you might as well be riding someone else's bike. With RockShox, the markings for the exact adjustment of your suspension components are printed directly on the suspension, saving you a lot of time when setting up.
