Your new rear shock has everything you need to reach the finish line first. In the open position, it irons out everything in its path and in "pedal" mode, you can sweep over the trails more effectively than ever before. Thanks to the "Rock Solid" lockout, you can climb back up the mountain as efficiently as with a hardtail.
The new 3-position lockout fits perfectly with your SID or SID SL fork. Everything is controlled together with the new TwistLoc Ultimate lever. This allows you to switch between the different modes open, pedal or lock in a flash.
Solo Air
The negative and positive air chambers are only filled with one valve at a time, which makes it much easier to adjust your personal set-up.
SAG Gradients
If you don't set up your suspension correctly, you might as well be riding someone else's bike. With RockShox, the markings for the exact adjustment of your suspension components are printed directly on them, saving you a lot of time when setting them up.
Maxima Plush Damping Fluid
The best suspension needs the best oil. Maxima Plush has been developed to reduce wear on the suspension elements, friction and noise.
RLR (Remote) damper
The RLR shock allows you to adjust the rebound to your needs. It also has a lockout, which can be set in three positions (open/pedal/lock) remotely from the handlebars.
NOTE: The shock is supplied without a remote. The rebound stop on this variation of the shock is on the rear and not as shown in the illustration. It is supplied with the appropriate hardware (8x20) for your BMC Fourstroke from model year 2021.
