The evolution of Ritchey's road bike handlebars continues: Ritchey has adapted the EvoMax optimally to the requirements of gravel bikes. The most striking innovation is the 10 millimeter rise next to the stem clamping area. With its flare (external bend) of 12 degrees, it offers a lot of freedom of movement in the lower handlebar position and more control thanks to the wider grip position. A flattened upper handlebar with a 4 degree backsweep allows you to adopt an ergonomic grip position on long tours and when riding in a relaxed manner. The handlebars have special surfaces in the area of the stem and the STI clamping surfaces. These are rougher and increase the friction between the components. This protects the handlebars because the attachments can be mounted with a lower torque.
