Less is sometimes more, at least when it comes to a few relaxed laps in the bike park. If you ride down the mountain a lot and spend even more time on the jumpline, you don't necessarily need the complexity of a sensitive rear derailleur. With the chain tensioner, you can convert your bike to a single-speed drivetrain, which is less sensitive in the event of a fall, saves weight and is easy on your wallet. The chain tensioner is simply fitted to the derailleur hanger and adjusted to the chain line using the shims. This elegant piece is manufactured by the specialists for singlespeed kits and drivetrains at SBONE in Baden-Württemberg.

NOTE: When fitting, it is important to shorten the chain so that the full rear suspension travel is available. The chain tensioner can be mounted on all frames with standard derailleur hangers, as well as on UDH derailleur hangers.
