Less is sometimes more, at least when it comes to a few relaxed laps in the bike park. If you ride down the mountain a lot and spend even more time on the jumpline, you don't necessarily need the complexity of a sensitive rear derailleur. The Expert chain tensioner is the latest addition to the Single Speed series from Reverse Components. With the chain tensioner, you can convert your bike to a single-speed drivetrain. This makes your bike less susceptible to crashes, saves weight and is easy on your wallet. The latest version has a significantly higher tensioning force, is even more robust, is even easier to adjust and has been specially designed for use on freeride and downhill bikes. The chain line can be infinitely adjusted (0 - 15 mm). In addition, the chain tensioner has an adjustable stop limiter, which keeps the chain tensioner in the position you have previously set, even in the event of a puncture, and ensures reliability. To ensure that the chain tensioner sits securely on the derailleur hanger, a snorkel washer has been integrated. This prevents it from slipping in the event of vibrations. Installation is simple and quick. The chain tensioner is mounted on the derailleur hanger and the chain line is adjusted using the infinitely variable adjustment option. This elegant piece is manufactured by the specialists for single-speed kits and drivetrains at SBONE in Baden-Württemberg.

NOTE: When fitting, it is important to shorten the chain so that the full rear suspension travel is available. The chain tensioner can be mounted on all frames with standard derailleur hangers, as well as on UDH derailleur hangers.
