If you want to be as fast as a rocket on your racing bike, you need highly effective power transmission that doesn't waste a single watt. For this reason, Raketa chainrings are designed to be particularly torsion-resistant and robust. This allows you to transform every pedal stroke into direct acceleration and constant propulsion - for maximum speed with minimum energy loss.
Developed on the basis of experience from track cycling, where Raketa has been supporting world-class riders for years as a material supplier, components of the highest level are created. Valuable feedback directly from competition use flows into product development. In no other racing class are drive components exposed to such enormous loads as in track cycling. In disciplines such as sprint or keirin, riders briefly pedal at extremely high power levels - often over 2000 watts. Any deformation of the chainring would noticeably cost performance.

The chainrings undergo a complex manufacturing process that takes a lot of time and care, from the blank to the precisely CNC-milled and masterfully finished result. Each chainring is given the characteristic Raketa surface quality - with a hand-polished finish and an incomparably shiny anodized coating.
Exclusive to the silver version, the inner structure of the high-performance material is revealed after polishing. The irregular grain turns each chainring into an expressive, unique piece with personality.

Narrow Wide
To keep the chain securely in position even without a chain guide, the sprocket has a special profile consisting of alternating narrow and wide teeth that are precisely matched to the inner and outer dimensions of the chain links.

Direct Mount
In contrast to conventional systems, where the chainring is attached to the crank via a spider with several bolts, the direct mount chainring sits directly on the crank. This design saves weight and also ensures greater rigidity thanks to the direct connection between the chainring and crank.

Oval
Elliptically shaped chainrings increase performance by varying the resistance in the drivetrain and optimizing the pedalling cycle. When pedalling, the natural strengths and weaknesses of the muscles are better balanced: stronger muscle groups are used in a more targeted manner, while weaker phases in the movement sequence are harmoniously balanced. Studies and experience reports show that oval chainrings enable slightly higher performance with the same effort, as power peaks are converted more effectively. Time trialists with strong endurance and ambitious climbers in particular benefit from these advantages.
