RACE FACE Stem Turbine SL | 35 mm | silver

With the two-in-one system of the Turbine SL, you have the flip chip for the stem, so to speak. You probably know the principle of a flip chip: You change the geometry of your bike via a small chip on the rear triangle. Depending on whether you need more uphill or downhill performance.
It is similar with the stem. Depending on how you mount the stem, it supports an uphill-oriented XC racer position or the downhill-oriented trail position for more stable handling. If the top of the stem is flat (alignment -6 mm), you are in XC mode; the resulting shift in the center of gravity ensures more efficient propulsion. The inverted mounting position (+6 mm) allows you to sit more comfortably on your bike. This more upright position ensures that you generate more control and stability on descents. Mounted on a trail bike, you have full control when speed increases, roots, small gaps or wheels. The stem is designed for up to 140 millimetres of travel and allows a height difference of 12 millimetres (+/-6 mm).
