Race Face takes its aluminum classic to a new level.
A lot of development work has gone into these aluminum handlebars, so particular attention was paid to the balanced relationship between flex and stiffness. The scheme behind this is called GL tuning (Goldilocks Tune), the perfect tuning of vertical compliance. Briefly explained: most handlebars on the market are now around 800 mm wide and can be shortened to a certain extent and therefore adapted to the rider and machine, but the properties of a handlebar also change as a result. The stiffness increases and the flex decreases, with a shortening from 800 to 760 mm this is already around 24 %, resulting in arm pump and signs of fatigue in the hands and forearms. To achieve the best GL tune, Race Face offers the Turbine handlebars in widths of 760, 780 and 800 mm. Combined with risers of 10, 20 and 40 mm, there is a handlebar to suit you!

High-quality 7075 aluminum forms the basic frame for the Turbine handlebars, with a specific cross-section with variable wall thicknesses being selected for each handlebar width offered in order to create the most harmonious combination of stiffness and flexibility, as mentioned above. The clamping area of the stem has been narrowed to a width of 60 mm in order to achieve an early rise and a fast diameter taper. The Race Face Turbine handlebar now offers you the best balance in an aluminum handlebar!
