Hubs
Ursus is an Italian bicycle company based in Rosà, a small town in northern Italy. With almost 50 years of experience in development and manufacturing, they have built a comprehensive portfolio of bicycle components. All components are developed in-house, manufactured and tested on modern CNC machines, ensuring consistently high quality.
The Ursus RD50 is the right choice for anyone looking for a comparatively light and stiff hub. This is achieved by using aluminum 7075 and a 15 mm axle . By choosing large bearings with a good LLU/LLB seal and additional splash protection in front of the bearings, a long service life with minimal maintenance is achieved.
rims
The Duke Road Runner rims with their asymmetrical cross-section are real multi-purpose rims. They are light enough to climb any mountain, durable so that you can enjoy your wheel for many thousands of kilometers and very stiff so that every crank revolution is converted directly into propulsion. The rims are tubeless ready and have an inner width of 19.5 mm to safely accommodate tires for gravel use.
Wheel construction at R2-Bike
Our wheels are assembled entirely by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire construction, it is important to ensure that not only the concentricity is correct, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. This special care allows us to offer a lifetime guarantee against broken spokes, as long as they are not caused by violence.

You get a universal wheel bag for all common sizes.
You will receive a replacement spoke with a nipple in all the required spoke lengths so that you can repair the wheel at short notice after an accident.
You will receive a free initial inspection of the wheel, where the resulting work is completely free of charge. Only shipping costs are charged.
You get a crash replacement promise: If your wheel is damaged due to force majeure, we will rebuild it once. We offer a 100% discount on all labor costs and only charge for the material.
