Hubs
Switzerland is known for good chocolate, first-class cheese and marvels of precision engineering. The dedication to detail that creates these products is also reflected in the DT Swiss 350 hubs. Above all, the love for mechanics is easy to determine. The tried-and-tested toothed disc freewheel, which has 18 notches, is extremely reliable and can hardly be compared to a Swiss clockwork. The bearing technology with 2 bearings each for the freewheel and hub body is adapted to the loads that occur. The labyrinth sealing system with the grinding sealing disks and the bearing rings made of steel ensures a long service life. If service is necessary after tens of thousands of kilometers, the hubs can be dismantled and serviced within a few minutes without special tools thanks to the DT Swiss connector system.

DT Swiss hubs stand for the simplest construction and highest reliability. Thanks to the use of complex seals and bearing sizes adapted to the loads, the hubs do not require adjusting the bearing play. This means the driver doesn't have to worry about the function of the hubs for years to come! If service is necessary after tens of thousands of kilometers, the hubs can be dismantled and serviced within a few minutes without special tools thanks to the DT Swiss plug-in system.
Thanks to their simple but well thought-out design, the current 350 hubs have become significantly lighter compared to the previous versions. The Ratchet freewheel system proven by the DT-Swiss 240 hubs makes the hubs an extremely reliable companion. Compared to pawl systems, the built-in toothed disc freewheel offers a more extensive power transmission, which significantly reduces wear. With 36 teeth, the hub reacts very directly to acceleration. The new shape of the end caps makes disassembly even easier, so that converting to other axle type is even easier.
Wheel construction at R2-Bike
Our wheels are assembled entirely by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire construction, it is important to ensure that not only the concentricity is correct, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. This special care allows us to offer a lifetime guarantee against broken spokes, as long as they are not caused by violence.

You get a universal wheel bag for all common sizes.
You will receive a replacement spoke with a nipple in all the required spoke lengths so that you can repair the wheel at short notice after an accident.
You will receive a free initial inspection of the wheel, where the resulting work is completely free of charge. Only shipping costs are charged.
You get a crash replacement promise: If your wheel is damaged due to force majeure, we will rebuild it once. We offer a 100% discount on all labor costs and only charge for the material.
