Hubs
The Micro hub set is the ideal introduction to the world of lightweight hubs from Tune. As you would expect from Tune, the new Micro CL hubs are CNC-milled from 7075 aluminum. The special feature of the front hub is a new hub flange that does not require a carbon ring. The symmetrical design ensures optimum balance of the front wheel. The POEtry69 freehub mechanism keeps play to a minimum when starting off, so that direct power transmission is possible. The straightpull lacing makes it possible to create an extremely stiff wheel and the tensile forces of the spokes are transmitted in a material-appropriate manner. In addition, the absence of the spoke bend eliminates the weak point of the spokes and guarantees a durable wheelset.
Like all Tune hubs, the Micro CL is produced, milled and assembled entirely in the Black Forest.
Rims
ENVE carbon rims are developed by ENVE in the USA and manufactured to the highest quality standards at the company's headquarters in Utah. ENVE's engineers have years of experience with the use of carbon in the field of cycling and know what requirements a top product like these carbon rims must meet. At ENVE, every effort is made to utilize the advantages of carbon and eliminate its disadvantages. Stiff and extremely light rims have been developed in which all fibers can run without interruption, which corresponds to the best possible utilization of the material thicknesses. This principle was perfected for the spoke holes, with continuous fiber strands forming the receptacle for the spoke nipples. Aluminum inserts, which are common in other carbon rims, can therefore be dispensed with during production. This reduces the weight and at the same time allows significantly higher spoke tensions, which in turn allow the construction of stiffer wheels.
Wheel construction at R2-Bike
Our wheels are assembled entirely by hand by our wheel builders. During the entire assembly process, great importance is attached to ensuring that not only the concentricity is correct, but also that the spoke tension is as even as possible. This special care allows us to give the first owner a lifetime guarantee against spoke breakage, as long as it was not caused by force.

You get a universal wheel bag for all common sizes included.
You will receive a spare spoke with nipple in all required spoke lengths so that you can repair the wheel quickly after an accident.
Within 2 years of purchase, you will receive a free initial inspection of the wheel, during which the resulting work is completely free of charge. There are only shipping costs.
You get a crash replacement promise: If your wheel is damaged within 2 years of purchase due to force majeure, we will rebuild it once. We grant a 100% discount on all labor costs and only charge for the material.
