Q36.5 is an Italian brand for high-end cycling clothing, founded by Luigi Bergamo in the Dolomites. The name is made up of two elements: Q stands for the Latin quaerere (research), while 36.5 describes the ideal temperature of the human body.At the heart of the philosophy are intensive material research, innovative textiles and the goal of measurably improving the performance of cyclists through optimal thermoregulation. With the Gravel Gregarius Adventure series, the makers at Q36.5 also make no compromises and combine the cutting-edge technologies of the Clima and Unique models with conventional features. The result is shoes that impress with their high performance and offer you excellent comfort even after many hours on the bike.
The basis of the shoe design is a unique, handmade last. This has been adapted to the natural contours of the foot and guarantees perfect power transmission while minimizing signs of fatigue. In addition, the metatarsal zone and the toe area have been generously designed and are suitable for a wide range of foot widths.
A multitude of strategically placed holes on the tongue and the mesh fabric on the upper ensure almost stormy ventilation and perfect thermoregulation. The reinforced heel area guarantees a secure fit in the shoe, so you'll always feel safe when pedaling hard or in tricky passages. The closure system is of course also state-of-the-art. Thanks to two BOA®-L6 Dial dials, the shoe is securely fastened and is very easy to put on and take off, even when wearing gloves. Furthermore, minor adjustments can be made at any time, even while riding.
When gravel riding, short running sections can never be completely ruled out. The Gregarius Adventure shoes are also prepared for this. The outsole made of a carbon-nylon composite material gives you the necessary grip and is robust enough to prevent damage from sharp stones. In addition, it protrudes slightly at the front and back and thus serves as a small impact protection when the going gets tough.
Of course, the soles immediately convert every kick into propulsion, but thanks to their zone-based design, they also have enough flexibility to follow the natural movements of the foot. In combination with the Solestar footbed, your feet will enjoy a high level of comfort and almost forget the effort of the ride.
