Praxis Works is an American company based in Santa Cruz, which produces chainrings with outstanding properties, among other things. With their complex finish, the BUZZ chainrings are the finest and lightest model series from Praxis Works. They are ideal for all 5-arm cranks with a 110 mm bolt circle and are compatible with both Shimano HG+ and SRAM Flattop chains.
Cold Forged
The road bike/cross chainrings are manufactured in a forging process. This allows the shape of the teeth to be optimized down to the smallest detail. In addition, the surface is harder, which increases the service life of the chainrings.
Levatime
Praxis Works uses the term Levatime to describe the optimum arrangement of shifting aids in the form of lanes, ramps and rivets. Years of fine-tuning by Praxis Works result in a clean and fast shifting process under all conditions. The cogs, ramps and rivets are synchronized in such a way that the chain is reliably guided onto the large chainring. Each individual tooth with its different shapes takes on a function. The result - the chain glides smoothly onto the chainring.
DI2/AXS-Ready
Electronic drivetrains work with higher forces than mechanical ones. To prevent the chainring from bending during the shifting process, it is particularly rigid to ensure a reliable and fast shifting process.
