With their robust 38 millimetre high rims and 25 millimetre inner width, the Venture 38:38 wheels offer an extremely wide range of applications, cutting a fine figure on all-road and gravel bikes as well as on classic road bikes. The high-volume hookless rims with an outer width of 32 millimetres perfectly integrate 30 millimetre wide tires aerodynamically and ensure maximum control and the best handling characteristics. At the center of the wheels are the in-house hubs, which are CNC-milled from a solid block of aluminum. Durable industrial steel bearings are used to ensure a long service life and low friction coefficient. Sophisticated seals effectively protect the inside of the hub against the ingress of dust and water, making the Enhance wheels the perfect companion even in adverse conditions. Thanks to the high level of manufacturing precision, the frictional resistance of the seals can be reduced to a minimum. A toothed pulley freewheel with 36 teeth ensures fast traction.
The high hub flanges not only ensure stiff wheels, they also provide the seat for the replaceable carbon spokes developed by Polymer Workshop. These are five times lighter than classic steel spokes and three times stronger. In addition, they offer better vibration damping and reduce air resistance with their 3.2 millimeter wide aero profile.
The high weight allowance of up to 130 kilograms (rider, bike, clothing and possibly luggage) speaks for the robustness of the wheels.
