The Eclipse 58:65 wheelset has been developed for road races and rides at maximum speed. With their 58 millimetre (front) and 65 millimetre (rear) high, aerodynamically optimized rim profiles with an outer width of 32 millimetres, they help you cut through the wind efficiently at high speeds. The hooked design of the rims ensures a secure tire fit. With an inner width of 23 millimetres, the Eclipse wheels are ideally suited for modern tubeless road tires from 28 millimetres wide.
At the center of the wheels are the in-house hubs, which are CNC-milled from a solid block of aluminum. Durable industrial steel bearings are used to ensure a long service life and low friction coefficient. Sophisticated seals effectively protect the inside of the hub against the ingress of dust and water, making the Eclipse wheels the perfect companion even in adverse conditions. Thanks to the high level of manufacturing precision, the frictional resistance of the seals can be reduced to a minimum. A 36-tooth freewheel ensures fast traction.
The wheels are spoked with Sapim CX-Ray aero spokes. The aluminum nipples recessed into the rims ensure an additional reduction in air resistance.
Despite the high and bulbous rim profiles, the Eclipse 58:65 wheelset only weighs 1470 grams. The high weight allowance of up to 120 kilograms (rider, bike, clothing and possibly luggage) speaks for the robustness of the wheels.
