Sensors
The extensive range of built-in sensors is called Polar Elixir™ Biosensing Technologies and offers more biomarker analysis than ever before:
- Blood oxygen saturation - The SpO2 sensor measures the oxygen level in your blood.
- Optical heart rate measurement Gen 4 - The most advanced heart rate measurement technology ever offered by a Polar watch.
- Skin temperature - Track the temperature fluctuations of your skin surface overnight. The result is then compared to your 28-day average and the variation to this average is displayed. Tracking the fluctuations in your skin temperature can help you recognize changes in your body condition.
- Wrist ECG - Check your heart's electrocardiogram at the touch of a button, giving you even more insight into your heart's health.
- Orthostatic test - The test is based on the measurement of heart rate and heart rate variability. Changes in heart rate and heart rate variability reflect changes in the autonomic regulation of cardiac activity.
