The RC was designed for racing, for riders who want to master their bike on technically demanding routes and maximize their speed. Ideal for man-made technical sections and natural terrain with hard gravel or loose rock. Thanks to the SmartGRIP compound, the XC RC is very durable and reliable.

SmartGRIP
Unique to PIRELLI Scorpion mountain bike tires is a continuous layer of Smart Grip Compound. The advantage is that the high performance of the cleats is retained even after a longer period of use. This ensures uncompromising traction, both in dry and wet soil conditions.

LITE
All models in the LITE version are designed for maximum rolling efficiency and suppleness: a lighter carcass to emphasize speed and driving feel.

puncture protection
The flexible 120 TPI TLR carcass provides additional protection, even with low tire pressure.
