Bottom brackets are among the highest torque specifications on a bicycle. Despite this, some bottom bracket shells have tool mounts that only allow a few millimeters of entry, which can pose a problem during disassembly or assembly. The solution: the Park Tool Bottom Bracket Tool Retaining System. It can be used in conjunction with almost all Park Tool bottom bracket tools. It has a spring-based clamping system to apply consistent, adjustable pressure to the tool, ensuring full engagement with the tool port and preventing slippage.
