OPENCYCLE Fork U-Turn Gravel Fork
The matching fork for the OPENCYCLE U.P.P.E.R and New UP frame, of course in the matching color.
OPENCYCLE has developed a new fork for the lightweight U.P.P.E.R. and New Up Gravel frames that does not require adapters for flat mount brake callipers. This means you can leave out the standard adapter supplied with your Shimano or SRAM flat mount brakes and screw them directly onto the fork. This saves weight and also increases the rigidity of the brake system.
OPEN achieves this by using the same mounting bolts for the fork designed for 160 mm brake rotors as are used for the rear brake. The visible bolt heads at the front of the fork end are an expression of the technically superior design and are therefore clearly visible. Internal cable routing in the fork ensures a clean look at the front and protects the sensitive brake line from damage. At the same time, air resistance is reduced.
At just 396 grams, it is the lightest fork suitable for GravelPlus tires. To save even more weight, it is fitted with an extremely light 12 mm carbon Ti Custom axle as standard.
