The popular Aquila is the all-round tire in the Onza range and has now received a few updates. The innovations include the 20 percent higher side lugs, which now give the Aquila more traction when braking and on loose surfaces. Furthermore, the ramp of the middle lugs has been made even longer, which reduces rolling resistance and ensures permanent ground contact. Finally, the tire width of the Aquila has also been increased, which also increases the tire's traction. Thanks to the easy-running middle profile and the improved traction on the side lugs, the Aquila is the optimal choice for most mountain bikes.
TRC
The TRC casing is a lightweight, single-ply 60 TPI casing with nylon sidewall protection. The TRC carcass thus represents the perfect compromise between low weight and puncture resistance. The ideal choice for intended use ranging from trail to all-mountain and therefore suitable for the majority of all mountain bikes.
Soft Compound 50
The improved compound formula provides more grip with less rolling resistance and less wear. The dual compound combines the best traction with good rolling characteristics and excellent durability. Soft 50a rubber in the middle of the profile for best traction and high grip as well as non-slip 45a rubber in the side knobs for excellent cornering.
Tubeless ready
Compared to normal tube / tire combinations, tubeless ready tires offer better rolling behavior and more cornering traction with the same air pressure. Thanks to tubeless technology, the risk of a snake bite when it bottoms out is reduced to zero. With the additional use of tire sealants, puncture protection increases in the event of punctures and small cuts.
