The Velo Kato™ impresses with uncompromising performance and a visionary design. Its frameless lens shape is based on the innovative PhysioMorphic™ Geometry, which enables an ergonomic fit and optimum protection, without traditional hinges and particularly close to the face. Non-slip Unobtainium® nose inserts and flexible temple tips ensure a secure fit. Two different sized nose pads are included and offer a comfortable fit for different face shapes. Ventilation slits in the lens improve air circulation and prevent fogging. An individually adjustable tilt angle allows the lens to be precisely adjusted to the bridge of the nose and cheeks. This creates a stable, personalized fit that adapts to every movement. The hingeless system also ensures an extended field of vision and an aerodynamic silhouette. Combined with the Oakley® Aero helmet, the result is a seamless fit.
High Definition Optics®
The patented innovative High Definition Optics technology achieves unique optical precision and quality. A wide selection of optional lens colors provides reliable glare reduction, improved color perception, enhanced contrast and optimized depth perception. Oakley's optional polarized lenses block glare without the side effects of haze and distortion associated with ordinary polarized lenses.
Plutonite®
The Plutonite® lens material filters out 100% of UVA, UVB and UVC radiation as well as harmful blue light in the range up to 400 nm.
O Matter®
This lightweight and comfortable, yet extremely durable frame material is characterized in particular by its optimum protection and flexible fit.
Unobtainium®
The temple tips and nose pads are coated with a material that provides a stronger hold for the glasses in the event of increased perspiration. This ensures that the glasses stay securely in place at all times.
Prizm™ Road Black
Prizm Road Black lenses are designed for bright light conditions and support clear vision with increased color and contrast perception. The violet base provides a high-contrast visual image, while the dark mirror coating reduces distracting light reflections.
