With the DRT5 Maven helmet, Oakley provides you with the ultimate guardian angel for your trail adventures. Equipped with MIPS safety technology, a 4-way adjustable visor and ionic+™ pads, it has features at the highest level.This is topped off by the integrated twiceme® Help the Helpers (HTH) system and a holding system for goggles. The temples are inserted into the side ventilation holes and held securely in place by the Unobtainium® rubber grippers. Alternatively, two clips are attached to the back of the helmet, which anchor the goggles securely even on bumpy slopes. Thanks to its modern design, great wearing comfort and excellent ventilation, the helmet cuts a fine figure in any situation.
Boa adjustment system
The Boa is a reliable and lightweight system that can be optimally adjusted to almost any head shape and therefore makes a decisive contribution to the safe operation of the helmet. The dial at the back of the head can be operated with one hand. Thanks to the small space requirement of this system, Oakley has succeeded in integrating a parking option for the goggles directly in the helmet.
MIPS Brain Protection System
MIPS is a low-friction layer in the helmet that allows the head to rotate relative to the helmet in the event of oblique impacts. This reduces the torsional forces that occur and possible brain damage.
twiceme® system
Bicycle helmets are also becoming smart. You can store important information about yourself, such as allergies and emergency numbers, on the integrated chip of the twiceme® system. In the event of an accident, helpers can read this information by holding their smartphone to the twiceme® symbol on the helmet. The alarm can also be triggered and the location transmitted at the same time.
