The revolutionary brake lever upgrade for your MAGURA MT brake system.
The OAK Components Root Lever Pro version impresses with its completely tool-free adjustability, outstanding durability and unique design. The result of all the development work by Oak Components is a brake lever that offers many customization options and has outstanding kink protection for your brake line.

The "Empty Path Adjustment" (EPA) screw makes it easy to adjust the empty travel on the lever. With the "Contact Point Adjustment" (CPA) screw, the "bite point" can be adjusted in 1/4 millimeter increments using grids on the screw.

Together, the two adjustment screws allow you to adapt your brake to literally any preference. Levers far away from the handlebars and a long freestroke? That is definitely possible. Levers very close to the handlebars and literally no free travel? No problem. Anything in between? That's also possible, of course.

In addition to your new lever, you'll get a steel spring to replace the rubber sleeve that protects the brake hose. According to Oak Components, the spring is more reliable in the event of a fall and distributes the forces evenly to protect the line.

EPA (Empty Path Adjustment)
OAK's EPA system allows the brake lever to be adjusted easily, quickly and precisely. This eliminates the need for a return spring, which often causes problems on MT series brakes. In combination with the CPA system, any conceivable lever position can be achieved and the brake can be adjusted to suit all personal preferences.Your brake system is more fail-safe than ever before.

CPA (Contact Point Adjustment)
The CPA from OAK Components is a mechanism for fine-tuning the pressure point. The production of a special adjustment screw makes it possible: the pressure point can be adjusted in 1/4 millimeter increments via fine detent marks on the thread of the specially designed adjustment screw, providing haptic feedback through a clearly defined click. The adjustment range is significantly larger than with original Magura levers and makes the brake system more adaptable.

SBP (Superior Bending Protection)
A completely new bend protection system on the brake hose mount protects this highly stressed area. Bending the brake line can lead to a spongy pressure point or, in the worst case, to oil loss. Experience has shown that the usual plastic parts do not provide reliable protection in the event of a crash or contact with a tree.In tests, a steel spring was able to absorb the acting forces much better and is the method of choice.

ALK (Advanced Lever Kinematics)
The adjustment of the lever ratio for maximum braking power with first-class modulation makes a good brake even better.OAK Components has calculated, compared and tested countless variants until they have come to the best result for themselves and their team riders.

Note: Please note that these levers are a third-party tuning upgrade and are not sold by the brake manufacturer. They should be installed by an experienced mechanic. For installation, the brake line must be opened and shortened by approx. 10 mm. If you do not have the necessary experience or the right tools, we recommend having the installation carried out by a workshop.

The brake levers are 100% developed and manufactured in Bavaria/Germany.
