This wheelset is all about the lightweight yet stable NONPLUS Components hubs from Baden-Württemberg. A newly developed, conical toothed pulley freehub converts each of your starts directly into propulsion. Thanks to the 45-tooth gearing, the maximum free travel is 8°. A stable carbon rim with an inner width of 29 mm offers your tire optimum conditions to work perfectly. Wide rim flanges protect your new wheelset from damage in the event of punctures. The optional tubeless mounting option reduces the risk of punctures and lowers rolling resistance. The whole thing is connected with Sapim D-Light spokes. They are a good mix of low weight, stiffness and the necessary stability for your trail and enduro tours. This wheelset will not only inspire you downhill, longer uphills are no problem either.
Hubs
The small forge from Murr in Baden-Württemberg has been producing lightweight and stable bicycle hubs since 2018. New concepts are constantly being developed and patents applied for so that new standards can also be set in the future.
The elaborately sealed industrial deep groove ball bearings are surrounded by a hub body made of high-quality anodized aluminium, which has a special venting system that prevents the formation of negative pressure due to temperature fluctuations in the hub. As a result, no water is sucked through the ball bearings, which ensures a significantly longer service life and noticeably smooth running of the bearings.
The unique freehub mechanism with tapered teeth of the NONPLUS hubs has approx. 400% more contact surface than conventional systems and enables maximum power transmission with minimum wear. The forces are transmitted over a large area instead of at specific points. The 45 defined engagement points immediately convert your acceleration into propulsion with little idle travel (max. 8°).
Rims
Thanks to the special weave structure and layer distribution, the carbon rims offer long durability and unique riding characteristics that make your experience on the bike incomparable. Additional wall thickness in the nipple area ensures a constant and safe riding experience even under extreme loads. The wide horn protects against damage in the event of punctures. The asymmetrical design of the rim enables a more even spoke tension, which further increases the stiffness of a complete wheel.
The decals are only glued on and can be easily removed.To match your personal preferences, you can optionally purchase colored decal sets and visually match the rim to your bike.
Spokes
Sapim's D-Light spokes are the best compromise when it comes to stability and weight. A very short transition directly after the thread helps to save weight on the rotating mass. The center section with a thickness of 1.65 mm provides the necessary stiffness and stability throughout the wheel.
