Three decades of experience in the development and production of hubs have left their mark, albeit a "very light" one. Over the years, Christian Jenny, Head of Development at NONPLUS COMPONENTS, has amassed an immense amount of specialist and practical knowledge, which led to the production of the company's first prototypes in 2016 after finding an investor. A short time later, in 2018, NON+ was registered as a trademark. Since then, the wheels have not stood still at one of the most innovative think tanks for bike components in Germany. New concepts are constantly being developed and patents applied for in order to set new standards in the future.
The Primaro Fusion SP hub combines the H igh-Performance-hub body of the classic Primaro SP hub with the ultra-light inner workings of the Primaro Ultra hubs. With this fusion, NON+ can achieve a hub set weight of just 197 grams without compromising on durability and performance. The most striking feature of the hubs is the limited edition matt white Cerakote coating. This ultra-modern coating technology not only gives the hub pairs a very special look, it is also extremely resistant to scratches, stone chips and chemical influences. Thanks to the extremely thin coating thickness, the low weight of the hubs is maintained and all tolerances on bearing and sealing surfaces are adhered to.
With their slim hub bodies for straight-pull spokes, the NON+ Primaro Fusion SP hubs fit perfectly into the overall appearance of modern racing and gravel bikes. The coated Enduro Bearings ceramic hybrid ball bearings ensure silky smooth running and long-lasting high performance, while the micro-gap end caps provide additional sealing against the elements.
Self-adjusting bearing play
Thanks to high-precision manufacturing and perfect quality control, the hubs do not require an adjustment ring for the bearing play. This means you always have a perfectly adjusted hub with smooth, easy running.
Precision and quality
The elimination of disruptive factors such as flex, vacuum effect, spoke tear-out and tolerances, through the highest precision in material selection, manufacturing process and quality assurance, enable a warranty period of 4 years!
Non Vacuum Effect
A unique venting system prevents the formation of negative pressure due to temperature fluctuations in the hub. As a result, no water is sucked through the ball bearings, which ensures a significantly longer service life and noticeably smoother running of the bearings.
High-speed seal with anti-friction coating
The resistance of the bearings has been increased in favor of maximum speed in dry conditions - however, higher wear is to be expected in adverse conditions.
Special sealing
Micro-gap end caps improve the sealing of the individual hub components.
Special friction-reducing coating
For efficient propulsion and minimized idling losses, the freewheel body and toothed pulley have been given a special friction-reducing coating.
More lateral stiffness
The spoke angle has been optimized and the drive side of the rear hub has been moved outwards.
NOTE: On request, the rear hub is also available with Shimano Micro-Spline, Campagnolo N3W or Shimano HG (not for E-bike) freehub bodies.
