Mondraker was born out of Spanish downhill racer Miguel Pina's passion for mountain biking in 2001 to develop modern mountain bikes with a clear design language and innovative performance features such as the Zero Suspension System and Forward Geometry of the highest quality. Bikes that make the difference. Bikes that win! These approaches are the foundations of Mondraker's company philosophy and are naturally lived by all employees and team riders, which is also reflected in the new headquarters opening in 2021 in Alicante on the Costa Blanca in Spain. Anyone who has always wondered where the name Mondraker comes from? It is derived from the cartoon hero "Mandrake - the Magician".
With the Arid Carbon Unlimited Eclipse, Mondraker delivers a strictly limited frameset with a unique design that forms the perfect basis for your new custom gravel bike. The basis of the concept is the raw carbon look, which is rounded off by the reddish shimmering clear coat. Another highlight is the supplied fork, which is the revised version of the well-known Arid series fork, which is characterized by a slimmer design and dispenses with the side mounting points. This saves weight and makes for a lighter riding experience.
This frameset is also lovingly handcrafted in the Mondraker Blue Lab paint studios as part of the CSP (Color Select) and is an absolute must-have for all those who want to set a visual highlight.
The Arid Carbon is authentic, fast and intuitively tempts you to follow your instincts. This makes it the perfect partner on all tours - no matter what gravel means to you. The area around Alicante on the Costa Blanca is known for its heat, dry climate, rocks and gravel. This (arid) environment shapes and forms the people who have developed this gravel bike and this DNA is reflected in the character of the Arid Carbon.
The design of a bike is an essential part of Mondraker's philosophy, and the Arid Carbon is no exception. The low-set chainstays not only emphasize the aggressive look of a modern gravel bike, as they ensure the appropriate comfort and smooth ride feel on any terrain. Thanks to the Stealth Air Carbon technology, the engineers were able to optimize every detail of the frame to the specific requirements of gravel sport so that the frame has the appropriate stiffness and at the same time releases sufficient compliance where necessary. This guarantees the best propulsion when pedaling hard and the necessary grip and comfort on any terrain.
Naturally, all cables and lines run through the frame with the help of the HHG Cable Routing System, underlining the simple design and ensuring a clean look. The Arid Carbon has a total of 6 mounting points for water bottles or similar accessories on the frame. Another highlight is the integrated storage compartment (Carry-On System), which is being used for the first time on a Mondraker. Here you can stow a multitool, tube, bars, gel or even your travel documents safely and silently. The storage compartment is accessible via a waterproof and dustproof flap in the down tube.
Stealth Air Carbon
This technology enables the precise positioning and alignment of the carbon mats according to the requirements of the respective model. The result is a frame with the best ratio of strength, stiffness, vibration damping and weight in the unmistakable Mondraker design.

Carry-On System
The integrated storage compartment in the down tube has enough space to stow a multitool, tube, snacks and travel documents.
NOTE: Typical for Mondraker, the reach of the Arid Carbon is very generous and the manufacturer recommends a stem length of 60 mm to 90 mm and a handlebar width between 440 mm and 460 mm.
