The MET Trenta Carbon is a performance road bike helmet for elite riders and is designed for the best possible function when riding in a group.
Developed to keep your head cool and effectively protect you in the event of a fall. It is the most advanced road bike helmet MET has ever made and is now also available in a version with the MIPS-C2® brain protection system. It lies floating on the head and can thus effectively reduce the rotational forces acting in the event of a fall. It also offers unprecedented temperature management. The NACA ventilation opening and the rear deflectors ensure that the air flow is cleverly guided inside the helmet and cool your head efficiently without slowing you down, especially since only 30% of the helmet rests on your head.
MIPS® technology
The MIPS-C2® technology separates the shell and the liner with a thin layer of plastic called the Low Friction Layer (LFL). Thanks to this LFL, which is attached with four rubber elastomers, the helmet floats on the head and effectively diverts the rotational forces that occur in the event of a fall from the head.
3K carbon technology
The construction of the MET Trenta 3K Carbon performs better than any other helmet on the market. The R&D team found that with the modulus of elasticity of carbon, the density of EPS foam could be reduced by 20% without negatively impacting energy absorption capability. The result is an extremely light and at the same time better functioning helmet shell that sets a new standard in the manufacture of ventilated helmets.
