MAXXIS Tire Aggressor 29 x 2.30 DualCompound DoubleDown TR
The aggressor has been designed for very fast modern mountain bike trails. Highly developed stud design gives additional grip edges and reinforced side studs provide increased stability in fast corners. An all-round trail tire suitable for everything from a light trail to difficult enduro courses.
Tubeless Ready (TR)
tube tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure. This results in better traction and the rolling resistance decreases. And where there is no tube , the risk of a breakdown also falls. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealing milk than other Tubeless Ready tires. The bead of our TR tires is like a real UST tube completely covered with a rubber layer. As a result, the tube easy to install on all rims with standard dimensions already during the first inflation and with little fluid. Even normal MAXXIS MTB tires can be mounted like tires of other manufacturers Tubeless with sealant since the carcass fabrics are very tight.
Officially released for tubeless mounting and guaranteed by MAXXIS are only the new MAXXIS TR models. Tubeless assembly of other models is at your own responsibility.
Note: We strongly advise against the use of ammonia-containing sealant milk. Ammonia is proven to attack the carcass and, depending on the amount used, can weaken it by up to 30% within a few months.
Doubledown tires are built like downhill tires: two carcass ply reinforced with a butyle insert in the side wall. With two 120 TPI (instead of 60 TPI) carcass plies and aramid bead, they are significantly lighter than downhill tires, much more stable and more robust than TR + EXO tires, making them ideal for tough enduro courses.
Two different rubber mixtures are processed into a tread strip. The arrangement of the mixtures is planned according to the desired characteristics of the tires.
