The Swedish brand Maurten offers a wide range of sports nutrition products. It was named after Mårten, a triathlete and friend of the family of company founder and entrepreneur Olof Sköld. In 2015, Maurten took up the challenge and developed the next generation of sports nutrition. Maurten's motto is: "Back to the essentials - no more and no less than what you really need."

The Solid 160 is an innovation from Maurten. A performance bar made from oats and rice and optimized with a balanced salt content to regulate sodium levels, it is ideal as a snack before, after and during sports activities. The update for the Solid bar harmonizes with other Maurten 160 products and increases the carbohydrate content to 40 g per bar. A bar has now been split into two mini-bars, each containing 20g of carbohydrate, to be either consumed in full or a portion saved for later. The packaging of Solid 160 and Solid C 160 has been redesigned to allow for clearer differentiation. In addition, the texture of Solid 160 has been improved, making the bar easier to chew and thus facilitating energy absorption. The bar contains cocoa and therefore offers a delicious taste alternative. It has a natural, sweet taste and is an ideal source of carbohydrates and fiber, the perfect complement to the hydrogel.
