Magura's MT8 SL stands for uncompromising braking power and maximum stability with minimum weight. But the lightweight in the Magura range not only scores points with its top function, which has been confirmed in several tests, it is also a visual highlight on every bike thanks to the use of lots of carbon. In addition, the neon yellow accents ensure an aggressive look and instill a lot of respect in your opponent.
The brake levers are manufactured using Magura's Carbolay technology, in which carbon fibers are stitched onto a carrier material and coated with resin. This gives the ergonomic 1-finger brake levers, in addition to the exceptional carbon structure with low weight, also outstanding strength. The master unit is made of Magura's Carbotecture SL material, which contains a high proportion of carbon fibers embedded in a thermoplastic matrix. Thanks to the Carboflow process, Magura can use the material in a load-optimized manner and create homogeneous surfaces.

Magura has also ensured that the MT8 is easy to use, as the lever width can be easily adjusted individually on the lever. The brake pistons are magnetic for quick pad changes, guaranteeing a perfect fit of the brake pads. In addition, experienced hobbyists should have no problem bleeding the brakes thanks to the Easy Bleed technology.
Thanks to the flip-flop design of the brake lever, the brake can be used for the front or rear wheel by shortening the brake hose accordingly.
