LOOK Pedals X-Track Race Carbon Ti MTB 2023
The newly developed LOOK X-Track pedals impress with their outstanding ratio of contact area to weight. The shoe sole rests on an area of 515 mm² on the 60 millimeter wide pedals, which ensures optimal grip on the pedal and prevents unwanted play. This significantly reduces power loss when pedaling, especially during hard acceleration and sprints. The large contact area also makes it easier to get into the pedal, as the area offers good guidance even when it is clicked out.
The two-sided click mechanism of the X-Track pedals works even in the most adverse conditions. The chromoly steel platform is constructed in such a way that it has very good self-cleaning properties in muddy conditions. The release hardness of the pedals can be easily adjusted between 6 and 10 Newton meters for individual needs using a hexagon socket screw. Due to the compact design of the pedals, they are extremely robust and can easily withstand occasional bounces. Despite its robustness and large contact area, the weight remains relatively low thanks to the carbon base and the built-in titanium axles. The click mechanism is compatible with all Shimano SPD (MTB) cleats.
